I've been to Ravelston House before, however, this trip was a disaster.
1 sandwich filling only - we asked for Salmon and Cream Cheese and we got Salmon only (no butter or cream cheese).
Half a scone - cream on top was frozen
The rest of the cakes were firm to hard
Was really disappointed, but the food at the bar pulled back the night.
Friendly and efficient staff. Very welcoming and pleasant surroundings. Food was fresh albeit plain fare. Having said that still tasty. The cocktail was delicious.
We had dinner on Thursday which was lovely breakfast on Friday the same but had dinner on Sunday and we both have been very sick not sure if it was something we ate but we both had the same to eat coincidence maybe
Food was very good but service was slow. It seemed disorganised and their booking system is flawed. Perhaps a Sunday evening is a busy time but I thought booking for 17:00 would avoid this. Value was good with the voucher but would have been expensive full price
Fantastic quality food, very pleasant staff
wonderful food, pity we had to pay extra for a latte
good quality produce and fresh. The service
Very good value for money. I would recommend to all afternoon tea buffs.
Lovely food great service
Had a lovely afternoon tea on Saturday everything was nice and fresh and the service was good
