New Olé is an authentic Spanish Restaurant in Newport, South Wales. The Spanish

Owner/Chef Antonio Bautista-Vazquez is from Galicia, Northern Spain, where his style of

cooking is inspired by this region, having amongst his menu options typical dishes from

the North which are hardly found in conventional Spanish restaurants in Wales.

Proudly, New Olé was featured by Wales Online as one of the Best 25 Restaurants in 

Newport 2022, and recently awarded Tripadvisor's ‘Travelers Choice’ for the second

consecutive year by being part of an exclusive group ranking them amongst the top 10% of

restaurants worldwide, this is an outstanding achievement with thanks to their customer’s

extraordinary reviews rating them 5 out of 5 on this platform. Furthermore, New Olé is

Top Rated on Google Maps with a score of 4.9 out of 5

.Restaurant Guru granted New Olé the award for ‘Best Croquettes’

The business is run by Spaniard Antonio Bautista Vazquez, who in turn works as Chef of the

restaurant with more than 15 years experience in the hospitality sector. Antonio is joined 

by his partner/hostess Fay Rowland, a former Police Detective who appears as Ground 

Hunter on the Channel 4 hit series ‘Hunted’, Fay delivers an exceptional dining service.

New Ole s extensive menu is constantly updated with the best knowledge from Spain, 

working with produce derived from this country.

Currently with the expansion of the restaurant New Olé will be opening their beautiful 

garden patio area which will accommodate Spanish themed events including wine & beer 

tasting experiences.
