From Our Editors

The Jeyes family name has belonged to generations of apothecaries, and the Earls Barton business of today was founded by their descendants in 1981. The site is home to attractions including the Apothocoffee Shop and the Walled Garden, along with a gift shop, flower conservatory, model exhibition, children’s toy shop and the Earls Barton Museum of Village Life.

waitress was rude and did not provide good customer service and will not attend again or recommend to others. paid voucher four people and booked table of four, only required two person on the day due to illness but weren't offered additional serving if we'd wanted - although paid. Ordered two coffees but bought tea instead.

You didn't know who was serving because there was no-one there to greet you and the staff looked like customers when they did show up, no one checked on you to ask if you required anything else. We walked out because we didn't see any member of staff at all after we were served initially so we left our cakes because there was no-one to ask to box them. We were not asked if there was any dietary requirements either. Quite honestly it has been the worst afternoon experience we have had!!!
