From Our Editors

Lust and Liquor brings the bold flavours of American cuisine to the heart of Norwich. The restaurant is situated on Saint Benedicts Street in the city centre and is styled after a stateside smokehouse. The kitchen prepares hearty burgers, baby back ribs and hot dogs according to authentic recipes. The menu also features Tex-Mex favourites such as nachos and tacos as well as a number of Cajun-inspired dishes. Fare is complemented by an innovative array of cocktails, beers from Central and South America and international spirits. The contemporary interior sports candlelit tables, a colourful mural of a wrestler and many other distinctive features.

The welcome was brilliant, the food delicious, the place itself had a lovely atmosphere despite it being empty, we were the last sitting on a Sunday afternoon. Will most certainly be coming back.

The terms and conditions need to be clearer. By reading the terms and conditions we weren't sure if if the voucher was lunch only. Also we expected an alcoholic drink - just a can of beer or house wine but we're only allowed a soft drink. This should have been made clear in the t&c.

The service was quite bad until the waiter overheard me mention this to my partner and then it seemed to improve. The food on the menu sounded lovely but when it came out it wasn't very nice it seemed as though cheap ingredients had been used. My starter of swine fries had the string from the pork included, luckily I spotted this and did not eat it. When I rang up to book a 7.30 slot I was told that they could only do 7 or 8 but when we went there there was only one other table of people! We would definitely not return.

Wonderful food and service. Please sort out the toilets, loo seat is not properly fixed in disabled cubicle. Also needed a good clean.
