Norwich's family-run River Garden eatery serves contemporary gastropub cuisine at a picturesque riverside spot. Patrons can enjoy intimate indoor seating in a simple yet elegant interior, or enjoy al fresco dining year round in the covered and heated patio area, browsing the British menu as they gaze out over the River Yare. The lunch and dinner menus encompass a mix of modern and traditional British/American crossover dishes, from whole roasted pheasant with new potatoes to New York-style 'slider' mini burgers, and pizza-style 'britzzas' with toppings such as mushrooms, shallots and goats' cheese. The kitchen is headed up by one of Norwich's youngest head chefs, who also runs his own cookery school.
