Was rang at 7.15 in the morning to say the pool was cold and that the zacci was broke and was asked if I wanted to cancel.id bought a spa day for my friend and myself and we had booked days off so we could have a spa day together. The pool was cool not cold and we had two treatments which were fine, I've never had a facial before so I've nothing to compare it to.. We got 20% off food so ordered sandwiches for 1pm in the restaurant, this was actually in the bar area. At 1pm 100 customers came in the bar area waiting to be seated in the restaurant , it was worse than a school canteen, at 1.10we still didn't have any food so I asked at the bar, after another 10 mins the food arrived, the sandwiches were dry, I took them back, after another 10 mins they came back and plonked in front of us with the waiter saying chef sends his apoligies, my malted egg sandwich had changed to a brown/white type of bread that you would of used for toast, egg ozzing out of it and looked like it had been thrown on the plate, bread was dry so I ended leaving some, other customers were complaining so I just said to the person dealing with there complaint I didnt want any thing but would leave an honest review, I.e dont eat, spa treatments were OK, ohhhh they gave us a free pass to spa, for next time ideally a free treatment as well would of been appreciated on the day, or a free afternoon tea, basically a disappointing day,

I booked an afternoon tea at the Derbyshire as a stocking filler for my other half. We went on Sunday. The staff were friendly and the sandwiches and cakes were lovely and fresh with a lovely hot pot of coffee and a chilled glass of Prosecco. 10/10 - Would definitely buy again. Gillian & Tommy. The service for food was dreadful when only there for the day you don't want to spend 45 minutes waiting for a sandwich that was ordered 3 hours before If you've got vouchers take some lunch along

I had a fab massage. It was the head beautician, she was brilliant. My sister had another girl, I think her name was Loren. She was not very good at all unfortunately. Amanda

The leisure facilities are tired, and the treatment room was very cold when it came to my massage, which spoilt the whole experience.
