Just back from our 3rd 2 night stay in the stable converted apartment with Spa treatments from the lovely Emma. As always an amazing stay, apartment lovely and cosy and a great stay away with the girls. Thank you Julie and Emma. Great place to relax.

The place was cold - the lady performing massage was wearing a parka. How can then one enjoy a massage in such a place? Massage itself was mediocre and did not last 1.5 h as suggested on the lodge website - the value of coupon should cover 1.5 h, but what the really do is 1h massage and 0.5 h of consulting (=read they give you a piece of paper to fill out). Definitely do not recommend going there.

It was a gift for both my daughters and their two close girlfriends to just get a night away and have a bit of pampering. I'm pleased to say that they thoroughly enjoyed their treatments, their accommodation and stunning scenery. T

Dreadful experience, and Groupon really shouldn't be advertising or supporting this business (it's truly abysmal).

I feel that this experience was not value for the £149 that was spent. The apartment you stay in is outdated and freezing cold. The whole place was cold and the heaters should have been put on prior to our arrival instead we had to put them on as soon as we arrived and it wasn’t warm even when we left. Also there is no couch in the main lounge area so my husband and I couldn’t sit together as had to sit in separate seats. I understand being cut off from the world and being somewhere with beautiful views but no Wi-Fi or DVD’s or phone signal. This is just not enough these days. One of the main problems was that we had no hot water. We brushed our teeth and then decided to have a bath and all the hot water has been used. I was an experience I would never want to repeat and i was counting down the hour till I was home. The only good point was the treatments that we received as they have hired a very talented misuse however it is a little strange that you have your treatments done individually instead of as a couple. I would not recommend this to anyone looking for a relaxing time away it was one of the most stressful experiences i have had.

I booked in for a 90 minute Swedish massage (£90) and nails (£12). I had a £100 voucher. I was told by the beautician I could only get a 60 minute massage as this was what was booked. This was incorrect and I had the email which confirmed I had booked the 90 minute massage. My mum was meant to be coming with me as I got this for her Christmas. She couldn't due to ill health and my partner came instead. In the end I was glad my mother could not go as I would have felt terrible giving this as a gift. It was so disappointing. I had 70 minutes of treatment in total instead of the 110 minutes I was anticipating. My partner was in for 45 minutes in total. This is not £200 worth of treatment. It's not even the £80 I actually paid for it. Further, we arrived early (not knowing exactly where we were going we thought this best) but after arriving at 11.45 the girl didn't appear until after 12.05 (our appointment was at noon), we spent those 20 minutes wondering whether we were even in the right place a there was nothing identifying the place. I have a small child and arranging child cover for this massage was difficult and was one of my few opportunities of time away. The whole experience wasn't worth the hassle and was a great disappointment. I will be deterring others from attending.

As with any pamper package one would expect a certain level of comfort in a relaxed atmosphere and, of course, a high level of attention and customer service. Unfortunately, the experience at Leithen Lodge fell short on all counts. We were not made to feel welcome, the "relaxation room" is a dark, cold, converted coal shed and the treatment room was too cold for human occupation. The "consultation" was limited to a few words, the products and further treatments were not discussed and the whole process was hurried and the opposite of relaxing - stressful. I could not recommend the establishment to others and I will not return. One might assume that the poor service was because this was only a Groupon booking but, we did book and pay for additional treatment. Overall, this service gives not only a poor impression of the vendor but also of Groupon in general.

Had imagined it would be in the main building so was a little disappointed to wait in a small room while my daughter had her treatments. I was ok with it as I had my kindle but it may not suit everyone. Although the room was nice and toasty there was a draught coming in from the bottom of the door and our feet were freezing. Granted we were there on one of the coldest days of the year but it is one thing that could easily be rectified. The treatments were absolutely spot on though which made it a lovely afternoon..
