From Our Editors

With a traditional British menu and sizzling steaks cooked on volcanic rocks, the 18th century Quay Inn champions local produce at a location on the banks of the River Frome. A village pub and bed and breakfast, the Quay boasts river views and a reputation for quality steaks and such regional delights as Dorset liver and bacon, and Kimmeridge mussels.

Great pub, food excellent with very generous portions, it is situated on the Quay at Wareham so makes for a great outing. Food is not cheap so voucher offer made it extra special. But you get what you pay for so well worth a visit.

Good environment, excellent food and plenty of it. Do not be in a hurry all food is cooked fresh and to order and certainly worth waiting for, highly recommended.

Food was reasonable but not exceptional. Also we had to wait over 30 minutes for our first course from ordering.

Friendly staff, nice location. It didn't feel like I was treated differently because I was using a Groupon code as some other restaurants have done in past. Excellent food. Would highly recommend.

This was our second visit, as was the first visit the food was excellent, however this time the service and wait were ridiculous = one & half hours for starters, had to ask where our main courses were - two then immediately got their main whilst the others had to wait. All in all very disappointing, three and half hour lunch !!
