Beautiful very clean hotel , we paid €30 extra for a junior suite and they gave us the honeymoon suite which was very big and amazing really . Would recommend and we are actually going to go back again in the next few months when the weather warms up as we would like to enjoy the gardens that are beautiful .
Brilliant Murder Mystery weekend…
Fabulous evening and Hotel stay. Very good value and great fun. Thank you .
Lovely hotel, great staff and service.
I had bought this for a friend and his partner who has asked if I can post this feedback as a public review:
"My partner and I had come to Hartsfield Manor to attend the Murder Mystery Dinner Party. The evening itself was great and we enjoyed the event very much. Our discontent was with the checking in on arrival.
When we had arrived, we were told that our room was actually not on the main site but that we were booked into a small spillover site called the Hartsfield Lodge. The site itself is a 3-4 minute walk away. Though not far, it is not the kind of thing that guests after long travels and having hauled the luggage to reception would like to hear. Namely that they now need to take the luggage back to their car and drive to another site. Our feedback here is that if this was where someone would check-in to, they should at least be notified in advance of the kind of extra trek so they are not met with the same surprise we had on arrival.
My partner and I decided to give this room a go but on arriving at the room, the card key we were given didn't work meaning we had to go back to the reception to ask for another key. Before another key was provided, we had checked whether there was another room as we were not keen to be so far offsite. The only room that was available was a single room with a slightly larger single bed which we preferred over the 3-4 minute walk between locations.
We had also dirty mugs in the room that we had to switch out with the reception.
Our feedback for this is the staff really should have given some kind acknowledge of the trouble this has caused the guests if not at least an apology, both with the wasting of time walking between places and the mugs being dirty. Looking at how fully booked the event was, by some simple calculations, it was clear that the rooms at the main manor were all been fully booked up with around 8 guests placed into the Lodge. This to us is an overcapacity issue that should have been avoided by informing the guests ahead of time to book another slot for the Murder Mystery or not advertise for that date in the first place on Groupon."
