First opened in Soho in 1926, Patisserie Valerie follows artisanal baking traditions brought to London by Belgian-born Madam Valerie, whose mission was to introduce continental patisserie to the English. Now boasting over 120 venues nationwide, the company adorns its cafes with a 1950s-inspired decor and serves up an array of freshly made cakes, craft pastries, breakfasts, lunches, coffees and loose-leaf teas. Their specialities include meticulously crafted croissants and viennoiseries, as well as homemade Italian-style gelato.
We absolutely love this place! I hope you don’t close! Staff and afternoon teas are fabulous!
Loved it. We have now been twice! What I liked about it was you have bottomless teas or coffee, which after eating sandwiches and cake is quite thirsty work!!!
Very nice and welcoming.
Staff very attentive and polite.
Very good service .Enjoyed the tea ,sandwiches and cakes.
Will definitely visit again
great fresh afternoon tea and lovely friendly staff
Great afternoon tea, good value would highly recommend
Only down side was that you don't have Redbush tea.
Plenty of lovely fresh food
Bought two of these groupons for fathers day gifts. One redeemed in Belfast, Northern Ireland and the other redeemed in Rushden, Northamptonshire. Both thoroughly enjoyed their afternoon teas, where they were impressed with food, quantity, quality and pleasant staff service.
Good food well presented waitress very polite
Food was lovely but I liked that the staff were 'normal' not skinney models types who don't talk to you and you feel as if you should not be there they were kind, friendly and it was a joy to be served by them
