Country manor, Mellington Hall is a character-rich monolith that stands castle-like, amidst 280 acres of parkland and gardens. The historic hotel retains many impressive original features like its grand staircase and offers views across to the ancient landmark of Offa's Dyke. Modern day visitors can sample British fare in the restaurant and the William Morris room, as well as Offa's Dyke Bar, where traditional afternoon tea is served. There is also a whole host of cultural activities that abound within an hour's drive of the hotel, while rambling fans can get onto the famous Offa's Dyke path from Mellington's own grounds.
