So much to see - really great place. I was born in that part of Southampton & being a baby boomer thought I knew about the planes & designers - turns out I had loads more to learn!! Give yourself 2 - 3 hours & enjoy the local worldbeating history - loved it.

A good museum with plenty of local wartime history information. Some displays look a bit tired and dusty but overall it's worth a visit. The Short Sandringham flying boat is excellent - make sure you go up into the cockpit, you can sit in the seat Maureen O'Hara used! Great to be able to get up close to a Spitfire too, and lots more.
