A plethora of furry animals awaits at the Tostock Animal Park to meet some new friends. Among the greenery of the outskirts of Bury St Edmunds, some wonderful characters have made their home. Visitors can find llamas and baby llamas in the park, as well as soft-fleeced alpacas and a range of small animals like pygmy goats, micro pigs and miniature ponies. Lording over the park are the majestic horses and sweet as honey donkeys, the latter available for rides for children. Feathers also abound with emus, peacocks, geese and ducks running around, honking their joy into the air. The birds are what gives the patrons the opportunity to handle little, few-days-old chicks when they are at their fluffiest. The park invites everyone for a meet-and-greet session where knowledge about the breeds and their dietary requirements is shared with guests. A picnic area for those needing a break is ready to be taken advantage of as well.
Live locally so ok for an hour. Granddaughter only 2 so limited feeding of animals etc. Truthfully more like an animal shelter in a field. We were the only ones there. Very tame rabbit was a hit! Play area could be good but grass unmown so difficult for a youngster. May well be better in ' high season'. We will go again as she liked naming and talking to the animals. Pleasant staff.
Took my family there the other day, and it was great you could get up close to the animals, and hold them, unlike other farms, the chickens turkeys are roaming around,so it’s like being in a proper farm
A couple of the animals had sticky eye which concerned me . Unlimited free animal food was good. Ok for for a couple of hours en
Small farm. Well kept and kids play area was great. Good value. Nice to get close to the animals. We really enjoyed our visit.
Lovely friendly place. A small farm where the animals are take and friendly. Can stroke and feed them (food provided free). Small park & picnic area. Great to spend a couple of hours with the little one.
Very friendly owner great for children to see the animals
Nice little farm with a selection of animals to pet and feed. My son especially liked climbing in beside the guinea pigs and rabbit which you are able to pick up and cuddle.
Lovely day out with the kids, friendly staff and good service :) am booking my next visit already
Despite freezing temps and a muddy walk, we had a brilliant time at Tostock Animal Park.
We brought our friends and our combined 4 children, ages ranging 3-9, and they all loved feeding the animals. The children were also able to sit in a little pen with us, holding and petting guinea pigs and the same in a separate pen with a gorgeous white rabbit.
We will definitely be returning throughout the year, as I imagine Tostock will have lots to do in every season. We look forward to trying out the children's play area and trampoline, and having picnics in the picnic area this summer!
We visited on freezing cold January morning, so we had the place to ourselves. There was a lovely lady who welcomed us and told us all about the animals and where we could go and what we could do. We loved feeding the animals and cuddling the guinea pigs. Can't wait to go back when it's warmer!
