Don't try to phone them on a Friday or a Monday - they don't answer the phone. Staff are friendly and pleasant however - facilities are good apart from the lockers which were VERY difficult to lock

The massage was less than 25 minutes as advertised, although very relaxing. The staff were friendly and helpful. But, Uncomfortable surroundings in the 'waiting area. If I was having my nails done I wouldn't want them done in a corridor. The steam room wasn't working. The bubble spa was cold we had to go into the sauna to warm up. We had to sit in a cold throughway waiting for our massage. Needs updating nothing that represented a spa! For a beautiful house and surroundings the Spa lets it down. . The £10 lunch voucher was misleading. A pot of tea was £3.20 therefor our meal could only come to £6.80! The dining room smelled of urine (old peoples home).

I loved the location: fantastic historical reference, lovely gardens and walks. My friends and I had a nice lunch. My facial was very relaxing and Rachel, my therapist, was so welcoming. I even had the bonus of joining in with an aqua-aerobics class. I loved the whole day. I wasn't sure though why there were so many hand sanitisers around hotel!

Didn't expect to be herded into bar/entertainment area with hundreds of OAP coach holidaymakers! Downmarket experience but in beautiful countryside. A bit weird really.
