Travelling between Sheffield Park and East Grinstead, Bluebell Railway is one of the first preserved heritage lines in the UK. The company has a large collection of vintage steam locomotives and carriages and uses some of them to recreate journeys from 1880s through to the 1960s. Customers can enjoy an all-day travel on the 22-mile route, visiting stations along the way, still looking the way they had in the past. Popular with film and television, the railway has been featured in shows like Downton Abbey, Muppets Most Wanted and Churchill's Secret. Aside from travel, Bluebell organises family fun and historically-themed days, as well as other events including visiting engines.
