Freezing cold with portable heaters dotted around. Arrive to be told that the voucher only covered starters up to £4.95 and mains up to £8.95 and that we'd have to pay the difference for anything more. Looking at the menu this limited the choices incredibly. The starter was disappointing and the garlic bread side order with our main was so thin it was more of a crisp which wasn't justified by the £5.95 price tag. What's more, having paid the bill I realised I'd been over charged for my glass of wine. Then to cap it all off both my partner & I have suffered with terrible d&v. Definitely won't be returning! No value for money, poor atmosphere & dining experience and a bit of food poisoning to boot!

Appalling service, food and did not keep to the offer. Limited menu opposing the voucher and made to pay for soft drinks when alcohol couldn't be accepted. Disgusting experience.

Was very disappointed with the sandwiches, just cream cheese on one. Poor quality cakes, we had booked afternoon tea with Prosecco a few time. when I asked for the tea was tolded we would have to pay extra never known that before, it was so cold in the place needed tea to warm up. never been so cold. I know it's a very old building the couple o the next table had electric heater it only one they had. Bad experience.Would not go there again

Well I've been on several afternoon teas, some with prosecco some without but all came with a cup of tea or coffee, not sofias oh. I! They actually charged me £6.50 for 2 coffees plus 65p service charge! I couldn't believe it! And to be fair the food wasn't that nice either. Avoid! Or try Banks Bistro that was wonderful!

Only one choice on groupon menu (margarita pizza) or pay extra. Not the spirit of a good deal, false advertising and misleading. Prices expensive considering the area Sofia's is based. Don't book unless you are willing to pay in excess of £100 at the end of the meal.

Gloomy and cold. Not enough sauce/meat on pasta dishes, ridiculous price on some starters such as bread-based dishes hence poor value for money if paying the full price.
