Dreadful. The place was closed and appears to have shut down totally and Groupon are giving me the run around regarding a refund. Avoid at all costs.

It was closed when we arrived. Was hooked in with confirmation. I emailed the tea room but no reply. Emailed Groupon for a refund but still waiting to hear back

I am awaiting a refund from you as I had to rebook this twice due to a problem in the kitchen and then received another email stating their business has closed. I have had an email from you stating this has been passed to management to deal with, asking me to close my ticket with “resolved.” I will not be doing this until I have had my refund and it is, indeed, resolved!!!

After reading other reviews I thought we had gone to a different place. The staff were fine and friendly but the food was awful!! The bread for The sandwiches was dry and crusty round the edges. The cakes were awful a lemon one I think was gooey and tasted liked it was not cooked just fell apart, a cup cake looking cake had a texture of bread pudding and tasted of nothing, the flap jack was hard and burnt and the scones just had a horrible bitter toxic taste ??? Can not describe it . Very disappointed.

Loved it! Good quality food and the tea was really nice. The staff was lovely and the restaurant is in a good location. Walking distance from the beach. We went back the day after for breakfast.

Bit disappointing. They had no record of our reservation to start with but as there were only two other customers they fitted us in!! The sandwiches were very dry and the bread was too thick for afternoon tea, which was a shame as the fillings were tasty. Service was friendly and attentive. Not worth the money in my opinion.
