Built in the 1800s, Burford Lodge was originally a private dwelling for a local businessman. Since its refurbishment in 2012, it is now a traditional country guest house, nestled in the medieval Cotswold town of Burford. Guests can explore the history of the area, strolling down the cobbled streets to the 15th-century parish church, visiting the pubs and tea shops along the way for a refreshment. Fetes and markets take place throughout the year, or guests could visit neighbouring towns such as Cirencester or Oxford. The en suite rooms are styled in a traditional manner in keeping with the countryside setting. Guests can rest after their journey with a welcome drink upon on arrival, chosen from the selection at the bar.
