Application of mesotherapy

Needle mesotherapy is widely used. It is relatively lightweight for the patient - the procedure itself lasts 15-30 minutes, requires anesthesia of the areas treated with the cream for 45-60 minutes. Needle mesotherapy is most often used in patients suffering from a decrease in skin hydration, the first symptoms of photoaging of the skin, loss of firmness, and visibility of fine wrinkles. Mesotherapy is a great way to moisturize the sensitive areas of the skin of the neck, cleavage and backs of the hands. It also regulates the work of the sebaceous glands. It is widely used as a method supporting the fight against stretch marks and fibrotic-sclerotic paniculopathy.

What do mesotherapy cocktails contain?

The preparations used during the needle mesotherapy of the face, neck and cleavage contain hyaluronic acid, which is their main component. It is a naturally occurring compound in our skin, and its action is to retain water. One acid molecule is able to bind approx. 250 water molecules, thus firming, revitalizing and unifying the color in the treated area.

In addition, cocktails are rich in properly selected nutrients, i.e. vitamins A, C, E, as well as active substances derived, for example, from algae or green tea. The supplied vitamins do not oxidize and increase collagen production. Organic silica is also used in revitalization treatments, which stimulates the production of fibroblasts.

How often is the procedure performed?

Much depends on what product we use when performing mesotherapy. Most often it is a series consisting of a minimum of 3 and a maximum of 7 needle mesotherapy treatments performed at 3-week intervals. After 6 months, it is worth performing a booster treatment.

When will I see the effects of mesotherapy?

The effects of needle mesotherapy are usually visible only after a series of treatments. Of course, if the patient is young and the changes are small, the effect is visible after the first mesotherapy. With more complex problems or advanced symptoms of skin aging, the effects will not be as spectacular, and obtaining the optimal aesthetic effect will probably require a combination of several methods.
