About American Museum and Gardens
Just 2 miles from the center of Bath, the American Museum & Gardens takes you on a journey through American history, through period rooms, and a remarkable collection of folk, decorative arts, and cultural objects. Our extensive grounds and gardens include the New American Garden, the first European commission for landscape architects Oehme, van Sweden. Our current temporary exhibition, 'Dress to Redress: Exploring Native American Material Culture', features a series of spectacular wearable-art pieces created by Anishinabe artist Celeste Pedri-Spade. Other attractions include our Children's play area, wildflower meadow, and bamboo garden. Visitors can find refreshments and meals at our cafe and stop by our shop for mementos.
