Today's Groupon offers Three, Six or Nine Astrantia Shade-Loving Collection Plants, distributed by Hayloft Plants Limited.
- A trio of Astrantia varieties
- Each collection contains a mix of white, pink and ruby red
- Easy-to-grow shade-loving plants
- Produce pincushions of tiny flowers that are surrounded by larger ruff-like bracts
- Blooms are loved by pollinating insects
- Make the ideal cut and dried flowers
- Flower from May to September and often longer
- Grows well in a moist, shady border or patio container
- Slug and snail resistant
- Supplied as bare root plants, ideal for potting now
- For best performance plant in moist, well-drained soil in part shade
- Fully hardy perennial - plants can be left outside all year round to be enjoyed for years to come
- Each collection contains the following varieties:
- Astrantia Major (White)
- White pincushion blooms from May onwards
- At maturity expect a height of 70cm with a spread of 45cm
- Astrantia Pink Pride (Pale Pink)
- Produces elegant pale pink blooms
- At maturity expect a height of 60cm with a spread of 45cm
- Astrantia Major Claret (Red/Pink)
- Produces burgundy-red blooms
- At maturity expect a height of 90cm with a spread of 45cm
- Astrantia Major (White)
