The Deal

Visitors encounter a varied array of flora as they wander the castle's gardens, personally designed by Belvoir's fifth duchess at the turn of the 18th century. The series of individual gardens encompass a rustic summerhouse, a woodland path, fresh water springs and a cornucopia of rare flowers and plants. Guests can seek refreshment in the on-site tearooms, and can upgrade to castle admission for a supplement of £7 each.

The Merchant

Grade-I-listed Belvoir Castle crowns a Lincolnshire hilltop, surrounded by sweeping countryside vistas. The interior features restored furnishings, textiles, oil paintings and tapestries. Landscaped and wooded gardens encircle the building, and tearooms serve drinks and meals. Regular special attractions include the outdoor sculptures periodically exhibited by the castle's artist-in-residence, and events such as arts and crafts exhibitions, triathlons and firework displays. Belvoir also plays host to weddings and offers accommodation in a series of distinctive rooms.
