Birds of Prey Centre offers a chance to see them up close. On arrival participants will be met by their falconer over tea/coffee and biscuits. From here they will go on to be given an introduction talk and the chance to meet the red kite, white-tailed sea eagle otherwise known as the Flying Barn Door and the newest addition to the centre - baby golden eagle. This will be followed by the opportunity to handle many of native species including the barn owl, kestrel, tawny owl, European eagle owl, goshawk and peregrine falcon. The highlight of the experience is the chance to free-fly some of the native species. Entry in to the bird of prey centre and activity farm is also included in the day, so participants are welcome to stay after the experience and visit all other animals.
