The Deal
Bristol Zoo Gardens opens its doors for a series of Sunset Specials, where animals from gorillas to meerkats can be visited after normal opening hours by adults (usually £14 each) or children (£9.50). Other inhabitants include monkeys, pygmy hippos and Jasmina the red panda. Throughout the night, experts will be giving a series of talks, while live entertainment and refreshments in the zoo's restaurant and bar will keep energies fuelled. Face painting sessions will also be on hand for a small additional fee.

Spread over 12 acres, Bristol Zoo Gardens is home to over 400 species of animals and creepy crawlies. Visitors can browse Asiatic lions and red pandas before moving on to the monkey jungle and the new gorilla house. Children can also tire themselves out in the Activity Centre and the adventure playground.'
