Live performers the Daniel Benisty Quartet will play some smooth tunes in this evening of song and supper (usually £10) on 21 January. They’ll be joined by award-winning Lithuanian vocalist Vilija Leitanaitė, to perform interpretations of jazz, swing and soul classics as the audience tucks into a two-course Italian meal. This can kick off at 7.30pm or 9.30pm with a starter such as anitpasto misto with parma ham, salami, sun-dried tomatoes and olives (£7.95), traditional bruschetta (£4.50), or a portion of tiger king prawns (£7.95). Main options include the fish mixed grill, complete with scallops, baby squid, sea bass and salmon (£19.95), aged sirloin steak with grilled portobello mushroom and peppercorn sauce (£18.95), or the veggie-friendly rigatoni siciliana with aubergine (£10.75). Guests could opt for a dessert instead of a starter if they wish, in the sweet form of chocolate gateaux (£4.95) or mixed fruit tart (£5.25); and the meal will be accompanied by a fizzy glass of extra-dry Bellussi Prosecco (£5.95).
