The Deal

Placed in groups of up to ten, beginners can begin to sculpt their skills in photography with an Introduction to Waterscapes course. Meeting students at either 9am or 12.30pm, a photographer will be on hand to answer any burning questions, while taking participants through the basics of shutter speed, exposure, filters and composition. The walking photography tour features views of weather wood groynes, Lepe coastguard cottages and the Millennium Beacon House. Following the session, a full set of notes will be emailed out to each person for photography practice in their spare time. Shutterbugs should arrive prepared to snap away with their own DSLR or camera capable of manual control, plus the added preference of their own tripod, spare battery, and memory card.

With a passion for nature photography, Chris Button teaches a variety of wildlife, waterscape, and forestry themed walking tours, taking students through the basics of using their digital cameras and lending tips for making the most of their DSLRs. Tours are directed throughout the New Forest, as well as along the Southampton coast, to make for pretty pictures.
