About Clarence Yard
Located along Southend's High Street, a short walk from the coast and the pier, the building of Clarence Yard has in its past served as a flour mill or a stationer's. After an extensive restoration completed in 2017, the building added a classic British restaurant to its long list of of identities. True to its seaside nature, the establishment focuses on various fish and chips variants, or simple hearty specials like loaded chips; there is also a designated vegan section of the menu, as well as a choice of afternoon tea options. The venue offers catering for special occasions, such as birthdays, baby showers or hen parties, with the mezzanine available for up to 24 people.
