The Deal

A three-hour introduction to indoor climbing is targeted at individuals who have completed a taster session or have some form of previous involvement. The session will cover the fundamental basics involved in climbing safely and efficiently. Participants will learn how to set up their gear, how to preserve equipment, how to use a rope and harness, and how to belay for a fellow climber. The hands-on session will see guests spend 50 minutes climbing the wall using a top rope. This class can be complemented by an outdoor climbing taster of an equal duration. The taster session will see groups walk in to a crag from the EICA, and after a safety briefing and gearing up, they will spen 90 minutes climbing in the fresh air.
