Creatures of the world are brought together in all shapes and sizes, housed across over 60 acres of scenic parkland and lakes. There are a host of undercover, warm areas to explore during the winter months. Visitors are offered opportunities to get involved with feeding the elephants and giraffes themselves, and there are an array of daily displays to enjoy. There’s over 270 species to discover, including bears, aardvarks, wolves, elephants, Komodo dragons, leopards, cheetahs, tigers and lions as well as chimpanzees and orangutans, to name but a few. Visitors have a number of immersive walkthrough areas to enjoy and get up close to the animals including lorikeets, lemurs, wallabies and butterflies. The zoo also boasts a soft play complex and adventure play area for children to go wild.
