Course Content

Appointed Person

Designed for smaller workplaces, this section covers workplace first aid regulations as well as the contents and use of kits. Administering CPR is looked at along with areas such as how to deal with bleeding and clearing airways. Relevant hygiene is also taught, along with how best to seek help while dealing with an emergency situation at work.

Life Saving Awareness

On top of the Appointed Person course's information on various hygiene procedures and general first aid skills, this section also examines areas that may be useful in a more domestic environment, such as knowledge of blood-borne viruses and treatment of choking babies.
