The Deal
Customers can engage in an hour of horseplay, with a riding lesson or hack. The lessons cater for customers with varying experience and of all ages. Lessons will work on paces, position and transitions, and riders with more saddle mileage can start to work without stirrups and over fences. More experience riders can opt for a hack.
The Merchant
There are approximately 50 horses who call Edinburgh & Lasswade Riding Centre home, ranging from cheeky Shetlands, to 17hh thoroughbreds. The horses are paired up to their rider by temperament, meaning quiet ones are paired with complete beginners, while the more adventurous horses are teamed with seasoned riders. The centre boasts both indoor and outdoor schools, and there are also plenty of hacking opportunities in the nearby forests. Horses can also be provided for beach and country rides. There is a play area to entertain all members of the family, and those not riding can visit the horses in the stable, as well as the dogs that reside in the centre.
