Drama, action and comedy are brought to life in cinematic splendour at Dominion Cinema’s Gold 1 and 2 screens, each showcasing mainstream releases. Two visitors (usually £10.95 per person) can make the most of reclining seating and private tables, and spectate films amid ornate, retro-themed decor.

The boutique Dominion Cinema has served cinephiles at a Morningside location for over 75 years. Mainstream releases are screened alongside homegrown and independent films. The cinema’s interior harks back to the golden age of the silver screen, with leather seating and a classic, deep-red colour scheme. Four screens host afternoon and evening showings, private functions, parties, and events such as Edinburgh International Film Festival screenings.
