During the festive season, many of us look forward to meals shared with loved ones, but the festive season isn’t a magical time for everyone. Food poverty is a growing issue in the UK, with one in eight regularly going hungry. During the winter months, this issue becomes magnified as the weather gets colder. This year we’ve been supporting FareShare, who redistribute good quality, in-date surplus food (which would otherwise go to waste) through a network of 10,000 charities including food banks and community centres to ensure as many people as possible have access to hot, nutritious meals.
We’ve been doing our best to raise money in support of FareShare and we’re now asking your help with a final push.
