14-Day Itinerary

• Day 01 :

  • Arrival to Kathmandu
  • Orientation about the trek and Overnight at the hotel.
    
    

• Day 02 :

  • Kathmandu - Lukla - Phakding (2,610m): 1-hour flight, Trek 3 - 4 hours
  • Start the trek with an easy walk through Chauri Kharka village and descent towards Dudhkoshi Ghat (2,530m)
  • The trail follows the bank of the Dudhkoshi River until Phakding (2,610m). Overnight stay at the lodge.
    
    

• Day 03 :

  • Phakding - Namche Bazaar (3,440m): Trek 6 - 7 hours
  • Fuel up with some breakfast in Phakding
  • Route crosses over the Dudhkoshi River, walk atop a long suspension bridge, and then enjoy a trek among the pine forest up to Monjo.
  • Climb up the hill to Namche Bazaar and enjoy the first glimpse of Everest in all its glory
    
    

• Day 04 :

  • Acclimatisation Day
  • Get some rest in Namche Bazaar to acclimatize to the higher altitude
  • If want to explore more, opt for a two-hour hike to Everest View Point, Syangboche, the short uphill hike which helps to speed up the acclimatization
  • Sherpa Museum offers a glimpse of the Sherpa culture and history of mountaineering
    
    

• Day 05 :

  • Namche Bazaar to Deboche (3,820m): 5 - 6 hrs
  • Walk ahead with the breathtaking view of the Himalayan ranges The Everest, Nuptse, Lhotse, Ama Dablam, Thamserku, and Kwangde are some of the highlights
  • A short descent by a riverside, uphill through the forest pass, and with many small ascents and descents visit the Tengboche monastery, one of the largest in the Khumbu region
    
    

• Day 06 :

  • Deboche to Dingboche (4,360 m): 5 - 6 hrs
  • Cross a bridge over the raging Imja river and after passing the valley wall, traverse over to the plains towards Pangboche village
  • Take the afternoon trek, deserted mountains walk towards Dingboche.
    
    

• Day 07 :

  • Dingboche Acclimatization
    
    

• Day 08 :

  • Dingboche - Lobuche (4,940 m): 3 - 4 hrs
  • Spot the village of Thukla on the way to Lobuche, as it consists of three stone buildings with huge strands of prayer flags hung across the valley
    
    

• Day 09 :

  • Lobuche - Gorakshep (5,164m) - Everest Base Camp (5,364m) - GorakShep: 8 - 9 hrs
  • Start with a trek from Lobuche to Gorekshep and the following, straight trail to Everest Base Camp is harder, involving rocky dunes and moraine, formed accumulation of loose glacial debris
    
    

• Day 10 :

  • GorakShep- Kala Patthar(5,545m) - Pheriche (4,371 m): 8 - 9 hrs
  • Take the grand trek towards Kalapathar to see the fiery glow of sunrise over Mt. Everest
  • Afterwards, head back to Gorekshep for breakfast and down towards Pheriche
    
    

• Day 11 :

  • Pheriche-Pangboche-Tengboche-NamcheBazaar (3,440 m): 7 - 8 hrs
  • The downhill trek from Pheriche to Tengboche is relatively easy, although it does, require an hour of scaling a hill.
    
    

• Day 12 :

  • Namche Bazaar-Lukla (2,860m): 6 - 8 hrs
  • Have some breakfast before the trek toward the Hillary Suspension Bridge and then through several local villages till Lukla
    
    

• Day 13 :

  • Lukla - Kathmandu - 1,300m. Flight time: 35 min
  • Representative will transfer to the hotel upon landing for some much-needed rest and reflection after conquering the Himalayas trek
  • In the evening stroll around Thamel and have a farewell dinner in evening
    
    

• Day 14 :

  • Departure from Nepal
