Set in a 700-year-old country manor house, the four-star Mercure Blackburn Dunkenhalgh Hotel & Spa sits peacefully in a verdant area east of Blackburn. Recently refurbished, the hotel still retains much of its historical charm which is showcased in turrets, porticos, or a vast staircase.
The rooms feature plasma TVs as well as desks and coffee/tea makers. All come with private bathrooms with shower/tub combinations.
