The Isle

Located in the English Channel, the Isle of Wight is one of UK’s favorite holiday destinations and awaits travellers with its coastal cliffs, quaint villages, unspoilt countryside surroundings and family-friendly attractions. Anderson Tours offers visitors the opportunity to explore the isle and learn more about this ‘diamond of the south’ from an experienced guide. After arriving by ferry at the East Cowes, guests may visit Godshill, boasting ancient architecture and thatched roof cottages, while the medieval All Saints Church overlooks the village from the top of the hill. The seaside resort of Shanklin beckons with two sandy beaches with countless entertainment venues, an esplanade and a wooded ravine, while its Old Village offers a display of old fishermen cottages, an ancient family chapel and a manor house.

Day Trip Itinerary

  • 8.15am: London pick-up, coach travel to Southampton and boarding the Red Funnel Ferry to cross the Solent to East Cowes on the Isle of Wight. Drive to Godshill and Shanklin with leisure time on the Isle.

  • 5.30pm: Departure by ferry from East Cowes.

  • 8pm: Arrival in central London.

Overnight Stay Itinerary

  • Day 1: 8.15am - London pick-up, coach travel to Southampton and board the Red Funnel Ferry to cross the Solent to East Cowes on the Isle of Wight.
    10.30am - Travel to the Osborne House, the seaside palace of Queen Victoria, entry included. Hotel check-in and day at leisure in Sandown.

  • Day 2: 9am - After breakfast, travellers will meet with the tour manager and driver, visit the seaside resorts of Shanklin and Ventnor, as well as the famous Needles. Return ferry crossing from East Cowes to Southampton.
    9pm - Arrival in central London.
