The Hotel

Nestled at the foot of Ben Nevis, the Ben Nevis Hotel and Leisure Club makes for a suitable spot from which to explore Scotland’s scenic countryside. Guests can take advantage of numerous walking and cycling opportunities, enjoy a round of golf or have fun while practising some winter sports. On site, there is also a large covered swimming pool where guests can relax.

The hotel boasts spacious bedrooms fitted with TVs, direct dial phones, and tea- and coffee-making facilities. Each of the rooms features an en suite bathroom and some rooms offer views of the surrounding countryside.

Lunches can be enjoyed in the bar. Evening meals can be taken in the Kingfisher Restaurant which offers a varied menu that changes daily. The dishes are based on locally sourced products.

Guests may go rambling around lakes and hillsides, or trek the known routes in Beinn Eighe nature reserve, near Kinlochewe. Walking aside, many fishing areas and golf courses are dotted around the area for more conventional activities.

Visitors may explore the great outdoors, taking to Loch Linnhe with a boat ride out to Seal Island for a nature-spotting trip. They may keep eyes peeled for herons and seals, with the odd porpoise known to sometimes make an appearance. In Fort William travellers may find throat-warming ventures in the Ben Nevis Distillery at Lochybridge. Further afield, potentially snowy peaks can be sort on Glencoe Mountain, and visitors may even get a whizz on the ski slopes.
