Groupon's Guide To Amsterdam
Sitting on the south bank of IJ Lake, Amsterdam is a port city connected to the North Sea, with Amstel River flowing through from south to north. Mixing vibrant nightlife and many diverse festivals with Renaissance architecture and cultural events, Amsterdam is a convenient spot for exploration and relaxation.
Guests can take a breath of fresh air with a stroll through the Erasmus Park, where ponds, gardens and local attractions make for a nice day of adventure or lazing in the sunshine. Moving inside, travellers can visit the Van Gogh Museum, which exhibits the works of the great master alongside pieces painted by his contemporaries. In this city of many tastes, tourists may enjoy Asian or Indonesian cuisine at one of the city's restaurants or have dessert in one of the famous pancake houses, before renting a bicycle for a refreshing ride along the canals. Amsterdam also boasts shopping streets, filled with a wide range of stores and street markets selling food and clothes.
The weather in the capital city of Netherlands features an oceanic climate, strongly influenced by the North Sea. The temperatures during the summer season are mild, with the average high of about 20°C. The city gets a great level of sunshine throughout the season. However, the average low temperature, especially in the evenings, reaches about 12°C. Starting from mid-September, autumn is a rainy and wet period, with October having an average of 13°C and November one of 9°C. Amsterdam rarely sees the temperatures drop below 0°C in winter, with the average high around of 5°C. The level of sunshine drops to one hour per day in December, but this improves as the season progresses. In the spring, the weather starts to heat up. Although March and April are still chilly, May is often very pleasant with highs reaching 20°C.

You will need to exchange your voucher for your official pass at one of the 6 counters located in downtown Manhattan and New York (addresses indicated on the voucher). There is no need to select the attractions you wish to visit when booking. Simply show your pass at the entrance to the attractions of your choice upon arrival
When booking, you will be asked to indicate a planned date for your trip, but the pass will only be activated upon first use
Upon activation, the pass will remain valid for 1 month, allowing you to carry out the activities on the days of your choice and not for a period limited to several consecutive days
The pass entitles you to priority access to certain attractions (detailed information contained in the user guide)
Please note that at peak times priority access lines may also require a wait time at the entrance, but the wait will invariably be shorter than in the main entrance line
Restrictions
The Pass is valid for up to 2 years from the date of purchase and the validity days start from the first moment of use. It is therefore recommended to use the pass early on the first day.
With the Explorer Pass it is not possible to take the same attraction twice.
Skip-the-line access is only available for certain activities.

Children under 3 years old can participate for free. The child price is valid for children from 3 to 12. The adult rate applies from 13 years.
Please note: some attractions require advance reservations. A link will be provided in the guide provided with your pass (by email) and all you need to do is book online by providing your bank details (no direct debit will be taken). To complete the visit, you must arrive on site with your pass.

Availability: every day (except in exceptional cases).
After booking, you will receive an email allowing you to download the Go City application and synchronize your pass purchased on Ceetiz, in order to easily use it on your mobile during your stay. Please make sure to enter your email address correctly when booking.
If you do not wish to use the application, you can download a PDF version of your pass (with QR code to present at the entrance to each attraction) and the information booklet including the addresses and times of each attraction. You can save them on your phone or print them at home.
You are asked to indicate a date in principle to reserve your pass, but be aware that the validity of your pass actually begins from the first use (deadline date use: 2 years after purchase).
Your pass will remain valid for 60 days following first use. You will be able to distribute your days of use as you wish and will therefore not be obliged to use the pass for several consecutive days.
You are not asked to choose the attractions at the time of booking. Once there, all you need to do is present your pass at the entrance to the attractions of your choice. Some attractions require advance reservation.
A link will be indicated on the application and on the guide provided with your pass by email.
All you need to do is book online by providing your bank details (no direct debit will be made).
You will need to arrive on-site with your pass to be able to complete the visit.
With the Explorer Pass, it is not possible to ride the same attraction twice.
