Fairwater Head Hotel is set on three acres of Devon countryside, with vast views over the Axe Valley. Guests can walk their dogs on the sandy beaches of Lyme Regis located 15 minutes’ drive away, or stroll through the seaside village of Charmouth, at approximately the same distance.

• The three-star hotel boasts three distinctly styled sections. The Main House features four large rooms with traditional furnishings; the East Wing has eight contemporary-designed rooms; and the Garden Wing features panoramic views of the gardens.

• Greenfields restaurant prides itself on using locally sourced produce where possible. A farm in Chagford supplies some of the lamb and pork, a fish merchant based in West Dorset supplies the seafood, and independent coffee roaster Matthew Algie supplies the caffeine-based hot drink.

• The lunch and dinner menus feature homemade classics such as local steak, and a cheese platter containing plenty of South Coast favourites. The breakfast menu features a Full English complete with West Country bacon and Tavistock black pudding.
