The Experience
Aspiring wave riders and more experienced surfers alike are invited to enjoy a surf break on The Silver Coast, just an hour from Bordeaux. With lessons and advice given by a team of fully accredited instructors, participants of various surfing skill levels can learn how to master the waves.
The experience is complemented with tipi accommodation set between the sand dunes and pine forests, just a stone’s throw away from the beach. The tipis are kitted out with beds, carpets, plug sockets, and a lighting system.

A UNESCO World Heritage Site, Bordeaux is the capital of the Aquitaine region in the southwest of France and the world’s main wine industry capital, boasting historic monuments dating back to Roman times, museums, chateaux and 287,000 acres of world-renowned vineyards.
Travellers may take a stroll through the botanical gardens of the Jardin Public, or visit the World Heritage listed Cathédral Saint-André, displaying an imposing 50m gargoyle belfry. The 232 narrow steps at the top of its spire offer views of the city, while at the Natural History Museum visitors may find 19th-century specimens on pins. Guests may take advantage of the location and visit the wine-producing chateaux and vineyards, while other leisure activities including golfing or water sports are also available in the area.

In order to participate in surf lessons, guests must fill out a health questionnaire, be minimum 10 years old, provide a proof of insurance, and be able to swim 50m.
