  • 10am: Visit One-Pillar Pagoda – the one modelled after a lotus flower, a symbol of Hanoi city.
  • 11am: Visit the colourful features of the 54 ethnic groups of Viet Nam in the Ethnology Museum.
  • 1pm: Bus takes you to a local restaurant in Hanoi Old Quarter, have a rest and enjoy the lunch.
  • 2pm: Visit Temple of Literature, the most famous temple situated in Hanoi, also functioned as Vietnam’s first university. It was first constructed in 1070 under King Ly Nhan Tong and dedicated to Confucius, sages and scholars. A vast structure that has existed to present day.
  • 3:30pm: Drive to legendary Hoan Kiem Lake, visit Ngoc Son Temple dedicated to Van Xuong saint and former general commander Tran Hung Dao for his struggle against Mongolians. Travellers will also see the beautiful Vietnamese and French architecture around the lake.
  • 4pm: Arrive back to the hotel. Tour ends.

It is legendary for Original tunnels system of over 220km and is a popular spot for both Vietnamese and foreign visitors. The peacefully rural rice paddy scenery contains ducks and water buffalos swimming in the rivers alongside the road. Visitors will find it hard to imagine the destructions, damage and defoliation all over the area, caused by bombing and mines, when Cu Chi was” A Free Target Zone “. The remnants visitors will see show Cu Chi still has her evidence to prove the fierce battleground that took place there and visitors will see the remnants.
  • 1pm: Back to Ho Chi Minh City.
