The Camp
Nestled in Harrogate, in the rural area of North Yorkshire, Harrogate Riding Centre invites both beginners and advanced riders to enjoy an active break combined with horseback riding and taking care of the animals. The aim of the camp is to provide children with a deeper understanding of horses and their needs, under the watch of experienced instructors.

Pony Day Club start and finish times:
23-26,28 Aug 2016: 10am – 5pm.

Booking:
Must book by 28 Aug 2016.
Questions and booking required by email: bookings@springhousegroup.com, and subject to availability. Please attach your voucher to the e-mail. Must give name of child, name of parent/guardian and security code in the email. Customers will then be sent a booking form to complete. Please advise any dietary requirements on booking.
Customers must sign waiver.
No modification or cancellation allowed after booking confirmation. Bookings are non-refundable and non-transferable to another destination once confirmed.
May buy multiple vouchers to extend stay.

Ponies are at the camp already, customers do not bring their own ponies or horses.
Clothing: children must have jodhpurs and suitable riding boots these can be long or short.
Hat hire available for a £2 supplement per day per child. It is recommended that children bring their own hats.
No whips needed.
Indoor arena available in case the weather is bad but it is advised that suitable outdoor clothing is also packed.
Children will ride for around 3 hours per day, they will also help with the upkeep of the horses and with stable management as part of the routine. Children must be able to walk and trot off the lead rain as a minimum requirement, both novice and advanced riders are welcome.
Parents do not need to accompany children at any point during the stay.
Upgrade to a private room available for £20 per room per night.
Upgrade to check out later than 5pm available for £15 per child per day, including dinner.
