Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival

  • Pick-up at the airport and transfer to the hotel

Day 2: Mekong Delta – Cai Be Floating Market

  • The day will begin with a two-hour ride from Ho Chi Minh City to the Mekong Delta. Travellers will take a boat to one of the highlights of Mekong, the Cai Be Floating Market, with a stopover at a local house to watch locals make coconut candy, rice paper, rice popcorn and rice wine. Tourists will spend time amidst local farmers, enjoy traditional music and tropical fruit on Hoa Phuoc Islet, and try a local speciality, known as elephant ear fish, for lunch at a local home

Day 3: Cu Chi Tunnels – Ho Chi Minh City Tour

  • Explore the famous Cu Chi tunnel complex for an interesting insight into how the Vietcong lived in this underground military base. In the afternoon, tourists will visit other major attractions in HCMC: the War Remnants Museum, Reunification Palace, Notre Dame Cathedral and the Old Post Office

Day 4: Ho Chi Minh City – Siem Reap

  • Breakfast at the hotel followed by a 7am bus journey to Siem Reap. Upon arrival, pick-up and transfer to the hotel

Day 5: Siem Reap – Angkor Wat and Angkor Thom Temples

  • A full-day visit to the popular Temples of Angkor Archeological Park. Wake up at 5am to admire beautiful sunrise at Angkor Wat or Ta Prohm, then head back to the hotel for breakfast and continue the tour with a visit to Angkor Thom

Day 6: Siem Reap – Free Day

  • Free day for travellers to explore Siem Reap on their own

Day 7: Siem Reap – Luang Prapang

  • Leisure time before transfer for a flight to Luang Prapang. Upon arrival, pick-up and transfer to the hotel

Day 8: Luang Prabang – Pak Ou Cave – Kuangsi Waterfall

  • After breakfast, embark on a two-hour cruise in a long-tail boat on the Mekong River and visit the mysterious Pak Ou Caves. After lunch, travellers will be taken down south to one of Luang Prabang’s most picturesque sights, the Kuang Si waterfall, followed by a transfer back to the hotel. Later on, holidaymakers can explore the colorful night market

Day 9: Luang Prabang – City Tour

  • Those able to wake up before dawn, at approximately 5:30am, can witness and participate in offering alms to hundreds of saffron-robed monks, an awe-inspiring sight dating back generations in Laos. After breakfast, visit the Royal Palace and continue with the exploration of the main Buddhist temples of Luang Prabang, including Wat Visoun, Wat Aham and Wat Xiengthong. Watch the sunset from the Wat Mai temple, followed by leisure time

Day 10: Luang Prapang – Departure
