The Experience

Travel across Vietnam exploring iconic sites, getting to know the country’s culture and sampling traditional delicacies throughout the 10-day tour, with highlights including a Ha Long cruise and dining with the locals. Alternatively, opt for a longer tour to include 5 extra days in Cambodia, and explore the country’s unique sceneries and famous temples.

The Itinerary

10-day tour from the south to the north of Vietnam:

Day 1: Ho Chi Minh City – Arrival

  • Pick-up and welcome at the airport, transfer to the hotel. Overnight stay in Ho Chi Minh City.

Day 2: Mekong Delta – Cai Be floating market by minivan (2 hours)

  • The day will begin with a two-hour ride from Ho Chi Minh City to the Mekong Delta. Travellers will take a boat cruise to one of the highlights of Mekong, the Cai Be floating market, stop over at a local house to watch how locals make coconut candy, rice paper, rice popcorn and rice wine, spend time amidst local farmers, enjoy traditional music and tropical fruit on Hoa Phuoc Islet, and lunch on a local specialty called ‘elephant ear fish’ at a local home. Overnight stay in Ho Chi Minh City.

Day 3: Cu Chi Tunnels – 1-hour flight to Da Nang

  • Explore the famous Cu Chi tunnel complex for fascinating and informative insight into how the Vietcong lived in this underground military base. After lunch at a local Vietnamese restaurant, transfer to the airport for a flight to Da Nang. Upon arrival, pick-up and transfer to the hotel. Overnight stay in Da Nang.

Day 4: Da Nang – My Son Sanctuary

  • After breakfast, a visit to the My Son Sanctuary, an experience that should not be missed out on while visiting the beautiful city of Hoi An. Wander around the lost Champa Kingdom that dates back to the third century, explore the temples and learn about the fascinating history behind this sanctuary of Hinduism. Free time in the afternoon. Overnight stay in Da Nang.

Day 5: Da Nang – Hoi An – Ann Tailor – Hoi An City Tour

  • Transfer to Hoi An and visit to Ann Tailor for a complimentary tailor-made item of clothing. In the afternoon, exploring the ancient town on foot, one of the best ways to absorb its beauty. Overnight stay in Hoi An.

Day 6: Hoi An – foodie tour

  • Discover Hoi An’s countryside and food on a bike. Tourists will pass verdant rice paddies to visit a local village, sample a traditional Hoi An speciality, cao lau, learn how to make a local delicacy, ‘white rose’, and visit Cam Nam to sample Yin and Yang food. Overnight stay in Hoi An.

Day 7: Hoi An – Da Nang – 1-hour flight to Hanoi city tour

  • Breakfast and check-out; transfer to Da Nang for a flight to Hanoi. Once in Hanoi and checked in at the hotel, visit the Temple of Literature (the first imperial school in Vietnam), Hoan Kiem Lake, the Jade Mountain Temple, But Tower (Pen-Shaped Tower), Dai Nghien (Ink Stand) and the Huc Bridge. Enjoy a ride around Hanoiu ancient town in a pedicab. Overnight stay in Ha Noi.

Day 8: Hanoi – Ha Long Bay – 4 hours by shuttle bus

  • A shuttle bus will pick customers up from their hotel and depart for Ha Long Bay. Cruise past exquisite scenery and limestone islands majestically rising out of emerald water, scattered with grottoes and caves. Overnight stay on the cruise.
  • Breakfast, lunch and dinner included.

Day 9: Ha Long Bay – Hanoi – 4 hours by shuttle bus

  • After breakfast, swimming and sunbathing. After lunch, return to Hanoi. Overnight stay in Hanoi.

Day 10: Ha Noi – Departure

  • Breakfast and free time until it’s time to go to the airport for a flight home. Transfer to Noi Bai International Airport where the tour ends.

15-day Vietnam and Cambodia tour:

Day 1: Hanoi – Arrival

  • Arrival at Noi Bai Airport. Pick-up and transfer to hotel. Overnight stay in Ha Noi.

Day 10: Ho Chi Minh City – 7-hour bus ride to Phnom Penh

  • 6:15am transfer to the bus station to go to Siem Reap. Upon arrival, pick-up and transfer to the hotel. Overnight stay in Phnom Penh.

Day 11: Phnom Penh city tour

  • Breakfast at the hotel. Visit to the Silver Pagoda (Temple of the Emerald-Crystal Buddha) in the centre of which is the magnificent emerald Buddha statue made of Baccarat Crystal. Continue to The Royal Palace, the grand home of the king of Cambodia. At the end of the tour, travellers will visit Wat Phnom located on a man-made 27-metre-high hill in the centre of Phnom Penh. Overnight stay in Phnom Penh.

Day 12: Phnom Penh – 7-hour bus ride to Siem Reap

  • After breakfast at the hotel, transfer to a bus station to go to Siem Riep. The bus trip will pass through countryside, a good opportunity to see local villages and houses. Upon arrival, pick-up and transfer to the hotel. After check-in, the rest of the day is at leisure. Overnight stay in Siem Riep.

Day 13: Siem Reap

  • After breakfast, spend the day at leisure or explore the city. Overnight stay in Siem Riep.

Day 14: Siem Reap – Angkor Temples (Angkor Wat and Angkor Thom)

  • A full-day trip to the well-known Temples of Angkor Archeological Park. Wake up early at 5am to witness beautiful sunrise at Angkor Wat or Ta Prohm, then back to hotel for breakfast and continue the tour to visit Angkor Thom. Overnight stay in Siem Reap.
