The Experience

Hoi An Express Ltd invites holidaymakers to discover the colonial towns with evocative war memorials and the ancient temple cities in Cambodia or Vietnam. In Vietnam, travellers may visit the World Heritage Listed My Son Sanctuary, Cu Chi tunnel system, the city of Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City, and enjoy a cruise in the Mekong Delta. In Cambodia, tourists may visit a local floating village and explore the stunning Angkor Thom Area.

The Itinerary

10-day Vietnam tour and 13-day Vietnam/Cambodia tour

Day 1: Ha Noi – Arrival

  • Airport pickup upon arrival  in Noi Bai Airport, overnight stay in Han Noi

Day 2: Ha Noi – Bai Dinh – Trang An (breakfast and lunch)

  • 8am - departure towards Ninh Binh province for a visit of Bai Dinh Pagoda in Trang An mountains
  • Boat ride to the cave complex in Trang An
  • Overnight stay in Ha Noi

Day 3: Ha Noi – Da Nang (breakfast) – by train

  • At midday, check-out from the hotel. An overnight train journey to Da Nang

Day 4: Da Nang – Arrival – Hoi An

  • Arrival to the Da Nang train station, transfer to the hotel in Hoi An. Check-in around 2pm. Leisure time.
  • Overnight stay in Hoi An

Day 5: Hoi An – Eco Life – by bicycle (breakfast)

  • 8am - boat trip to the Cam Kim village. Riverside bicycle trip, meeting a local family.
  • Overnight stay in Hoi An

Day 6: Hoi An – My Son by boat & Marble Mountain (breakfast)

  • Trip to the My Son Sanctuary UNESCO Cultural Heritage site
  • Visit the Marble Mountains

Day 7: Da Nang – Ho Chi Minh (breakfast) – by plane

  • Around midday, check-out from the hotel, transfer to the airport for a flight to Ho Chi Minh City

Day 8: Mekong Delta – My Tho & Ben Tre (breakfast and lunch)

  • 8am - trip to the Mekong River Delta, paddle boat ride, lunch featuring the ‘Elephant Ear’ fish

Day 9: Cu Chi Tunnels (breakfast)

  • 8am - visit the Cu Chi Tunnels. Optional activities at a firing range

Day 10: Ho Chi Minh – Departure (breakfast)

  • Check-out and transfer to the airport; the tour ends

13-day Vietnam/Cambodia tour only

Day 10: Ho Chi Minh – Siem Reap (breakfast) – by bus (13 hours)

  • 6.15am - transfer to the bus station to go to Siem Reap
  • Upon arrival, pick-up and transfer to the hotel. Overnight stay in Siem Reap

Day 11: Siem Reap – Floating Village in the afternoon (breakfast)

  • Half-day visit to one of the floating villages. Visit the Silk Farm of Artisans d’Angkor * Overnight stay in Siem Reap

Day 12: Siem Reap – Angkor Temples (Angkor Wat – Angkor Thom) (breakfast and lunch)

  • 5am - departure for a sunrise arrival to the Angkor Archeological Park. Retour to the hotel for breakfast and back to Angkor Thom to continue the visit

Day 13: Siem Reap – Departure (breakfast)

  • Check-out and transfer to the airport; the tour ends
