The Wedding

Guests are invited to enjoy a unique experience at the landmark Graceland Wedding Chapel. Year after year, a multitude of applicants go there to officialise their wedding, attracted by the original Elvis ceremony. The ‘Let’s Get Hitched’ basic wedding package offers the bride a rose bouquet and the groom his boutonniere, and then capture their special moments during a professional photography session. The ‘Loving You Elvis Wedding’ provides the bride with an Elvis escort, who will also sing three specific songs (before, during and after the ceremony), for an authentic experience. Last but not least, ‘Night Flight Over the Strip Wedding’ offers adrenaline types the chance to exchange their vows while floating high above the ground in a helicopter ride over the Strip.

• All packages include: use of chapel with wedding music provided, bride’s rose presentation and groom’s boutonniere, marriage certificate holder and professional photography-12 poses from which to choose 6 (4x6’s) and 1 (8x10’s), limousine transfers to and from chapel, driver’s gratuity, state sales tax, Minister’s fee and marriage license fee.
• A Nevada Marriage License is required before the ceremony. The driver will assist the couple in obtaining one at the Clark County Marriage License Bureau en route to the chapel on the wedding day.
• At least one witness is required on the marriage license, that may be provided by the chapel for free.
• For obtaining the marriage license, a valid identification is required: a passport or a driver’s license; no birth certificate or divorce papers are necessary.

Wedding Details

• Meeting/pick-up point: 619 Las Vegas Blvd. South, Las Vegas, NV 89101.
• Start or opening time: Graceland Chapel opened from 8am to midnight, every day of the year including all holidays.
• Residents outside the United States are recommended to contact their local government agency or consulate to fulfil the necessary requirements for the marriage to be legally and lawfully recognized in their respective country.
• Applicants can go get their marriage licence as soon as they get off the plane, and then go get married straight away.
• The wedding ceremony usually lasts around 15-30 minutes, depending on the chapel chosen.
• The numbers of guests that may come to the wedding depends on the chapel chosen; either use the ‘browse’ facility, or look at the individual chapel details.
• If applicants want a non-religious ceremony, they should speak to the chapel about the type of service desired.
• If applicants want a religious ceremony, they should speak to the chapel in advance about any specific requests for religious ceremonies.
• Internet broadcast is available at an additional cost for all weddings that take place in the chapel; locally payable fee.
• Languages: ceremonies are performed in English, French, Spanish, Japanese, German and Tagalog. Applicants must confirm availability. Interpreters to other languages upon request.
• The ‘Night Flight Over the Strip’ helicopter ride is subject to weather conditions and otherwise non-refundable.
