The Hotel
The four-star Macdonald Old England Hotel & Spa sits right by the shore of Windermere lake, offering panoramic views of the Bowness Bay and the surrounding hills. Just at the heart of Lake District, the hotel boasts a fully-fledged spa centre, featuring an ample indoor pool, a gym, sauna and steam room all for the free use of the guests, as well as spa treatment rooms for the broad range of facials and massages on offer.
