Travellers may visit the House of the Blackheads, once a medieval meeting place for German merchants, reconstructed following its destruction in the 1940s. The contrastingly modern monolith of the Museum of the Occupation of Latvia offers an insight into the country’s turbulent 20th century history, while the towering spire of St. Peter’s Church offers glorious metropolitan views. Visitors may also dive into Latvian life by exploring the Central Market, a vast, colourful sprawl of stands based in converted hangars. The climate in Riga is humid continental, and most of the time the sky is cloudy and the temperatures are quite low. The summers are hot and humid, boasting a level of 310 hours of sunshine, while during winters the temperatures drop below freezing and the days are not as bright as in the previous seasons. The city’s location near the sea delivers rainy days and fog during autumn and spring.

Booking:
Must book within 7 days from voucher purchase and at least 20 days ahead of departure.

It is recommended you book your place immediately after buying the voucher to confirm the holiday and avoid disappointment. Purchasing the voucher does not guarantee the holiday, customers must book before travel - it is not possible to just turn up. Valid for flights from London (Any) to Riga (RIX).
Travel documents to be received up to 1 day before departure. You must go with your boarding pass printed to the airport, at the risk of having to pay additional charges.

Depending on flight schedules and transfers, the first or the last night might not be entirely spent in the hotel.
Not included: airport transfers, in-flight meals and hold luggage are not included. Only hand luggage is included. Cost for extra luggage: always depends on the airline and will be advised on the time of the booking by the Travel Provider.
