The Hotel

A traditional country house set within 26 acres of manicured gardens, the four-star Stoke Place Hotel is a well preserved example of William and Mary-style architecture. Although surrounded by open fields and Colne Valley Park, the hotel is well situated for day trips nearby, with Slough a six-minute drive away, and Windsor just 10 minutes further on. Visitors may opt for a tour of the Windsor Castle, with history dating back almost 1,000 years, or even for a cultural night out at the Theatre Royal.

Guests can also plump for a more spacious executive room in the main house.

• The Seasons Restaurant provides visitors an extensive seasonal menu featuring tempting dishes cooked using fresh locally sourced ingredients.
