The Hotel
Snug in the heart of Cumbria’s Eden Valley, in the historic market town of Appleby, The Royal Oak Appleby is a family-run inn providing a rural retreat for guests.
In keeping with its 18th-century origins, many of The Royal Oak’s bedrooms feature wood beams and exposed brick walls. Individually designed double, twin and family rooms are available, all kitted out with en suite facilities.
Classic British pub food and local dishes are served in the rustic on-site restaurant, featuring cosy open fires, brick walls and wooden pews. Contemporary art, feature lights and mirrors bring the pub into the 21st century.
